Lenovo India Posts Growth in Annual Revenue, Computer Shipment Increased by 20.5 Percent

PC maker Lenovo India has recorded 38 % improve in income to $2.2 billion (about Rs. 17,000 crore) within the monetary 12 months ended March 2022.

The expansion was supported by almost doubling the quantity of manufactured PCs and smartphones in India whereas rising domestically manufactured tablets manifold, the corporate stated on Thursday.

“The entire income for all Lenovo companies in India was $2.2 billion for the complete fiscal 12 months ending March 31, 2022, representing a year-on-year improve of 38 per cent,” it stated in an announcement.

Based on market analysis agency IDC, Lenovo’s shipments grew by 20.5 % to 7.52 lakh PC items and it held 17.6 % market share within the March quarter of 2022.

“Our 38 % improve in income for FY 2021-22 clearly exhibits that Lenovo is assembly the increasing want for transformational know-how options in India. Moreover, this 12 months our service-led transformation technique has proven concrete outcomes, with a 58 per cent rise in our providers reserving income,” Lenovo India Managing Director Shailendra Katyal stated.
