Work on the new NCA begins in Bengaluru, a foundation stone built of BCCI brass

Work on the nation’s new Nationwide Cricket Academy (NCA) has begun with BCCI brasses, together with President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah, laying the cornerstone of the advanced right here on Monday.

Since its inception in 2000, the present NCA has operated on the premises of M. Chinnaswamy Stadium within the coronary heart of the town.

The Karnataka State Cricket Affiliation (KSCA), which owns the stadium, had leased to BCCI its B-field for outside coaching, an indoor coaching facility and a separate area for a contemporary fitness center.
